The 2023 Sustainability Week event has finally added Bounsweet, Steenee, and Tsareena to Pokemon GO, and getting all three of these new Pokemon is pretty straightforward.
There are three ways to catch Bounsweet during this event. Plus, adding Steenee and Tsareena to your Pokedex is as simple as evolving your Bounsweet after collecting Bounsweet Candy.
This is similar to the previous new Pokemon in the game, Cutiefly and Ribombee!
Every Way to Catch Bounsweet in Pokemon GO 2023 Sustainability Week
Pokemon GO players can catch Bounsweet during the 2023 Sustainability Week in the following three ways:
- Catch a Bounsweet in the wild – it is a rare wild spawn during the event
- Hatch a Bounsweet from the new 7km Sustainability Week event Egg
- Earn a Bounsweet encounter through the Sustainability Week Timed Research
Bounsweet will be available through all three of these methods from 10 AM local time on April 20 to 8 PM local time on April 26. This is the entire duration of the 2023 Sustainability Week event.
How to Evolve Bounsweet into Steenee & Tsareena
To evolve Bounsweet into Steenee in Pokemon GO, you need to use 25 Bounsweet Candy.
Then, to evolve Steenee into Tsareena, you must use a further 100 Bounsweet Candy.
This simple evolution method will be a relief to Pokemon GO players, as plenty of Pokemon require rare Evolution Items or have specific evolution requirements.

How to Get Tsareena in Pokemon GO
Currently, the only way to get Tsareena in Pokemon GO is by first catching a Bounsweet and evolving it. This is because you cannot catch a wild Tsareena or earn an encounter with one through Research or winning a Raid.
After catching a Bounsweet, you must evolve it into Steenee using Bounsweet 25 Candy and then evolve Steenee into Tsareena using 100 Bounsweet Candy.
