Cutiefly and Ribombee are the latest Pokemon to arrive in Pokemon GO, following their debuts in the 2023 Spring into Spring event.
If you want to add these insect Pokemon to your Pokedex, you’ll need to know where to catch a Cutiefly as well as how to evolve one!
How to Catch Cutiefly in Pokemon GO Spring into Spring Event
There are three different ways to catch Cutiefly in the Pokemon GO Spring into Spring event:
- Catch a Cutiefly in the wild
- Beat a 1-Star Cutiefly Raid and catch it afterward
- Hatch it from a 2km Spring into Spring Event Egg
Following Spring into Spring, Cutiefly will almost certainly become a wild Pokemon spawn in the near future. This happened with other new Pokemon that were added recently, such as Morelull and Togedemaru.

How to Evolve Cutiefly into Ribombee in Pokemon GO
To Evolve Cutiefly into Ribombee in Pokemon GO, you must catch a Cutiefly and collect 50 Cutiefly Candy. Then you can press the Evolve button to evolve your Cutiefly into Ribombee.
To speed up your Candy collecting, use Pinap Berries and these techniques to boost how much Candy you earn.
Can You Catch Ribombee in the Wild?
No, you cannot catch Ribombee in the wild in Pokemon GO. It is also not currently a Raid boss or a reward for completing any Research.
This means the only way to get Ribombee in Pokemon GO is by evolving a Cutiefly using 50 Cutiefly Candy.
Additionally, as this is the only way to get a Ribombee, you’ll have to evolve one if you want to complete the Spring into Spring Collection Challenge.
