September 2023 is the start of a new Pokemon GO season – Adventures Abound – but another highlight of the month is the upcoming Raid Hours. This is because they feature some great Legendary Pokemon!
All of the Pokemon GO Raid Hours in September 2023 take place from 6 PM to 7 PM local time. One is scheduled for each Wednesday of the month, for a total of four Raid Hours.
During these Raid Hour events, the featured Legendary Pokemon will be appearing in Raids much more frequently, making it the perfect time to farm 5-Star Raids.
Every Pokemon GO Raid Hour in September 2023

The shiny rate for Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon GO is 5%, or 1 in 20. This means that for all of the featured September Raid Hour Pokemon with shiny versions (Genesect, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune), you will likely have to encounter them 20 times before finding a shiny one!

Don’t worry if you are busy during any of the September 2023 Raid Hours. Even if they are the best time to catch the featured Pokemon, all of the bosses will be available to battle in Raids for at least a week around the Raid Hour too!
This is even the case for Kartana and Celesteela as, for the first time ever, they will be appearing in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres!
