The Along the Routes event has added some exciting new Field Research Tasks for Pokemon GO players to pick up and complete!
While the event is all about following Routes, there’s also plenty of Research to complete in Along the Routes too. This includes some bite-sized Field Research Tasks.
Even if they should only take a few minutes to complete, they have some great rewards. This includes encounters with rarely-spotted Pokemon like Hisuian Sneasel and Wooloo!
Spinning a PokeStop or Gym Photo Disc during the Along the Routes event (from 10 AM local time on December 5 to 8 PM local time on December 8) could give you one of the event-exclusive Field Research Tasks.
These are all of the new Field Research Tasks in the Pokemon GO Along the Routes event:
|Field Research Task
|Send 3 Gifts and add a sticker to each
|Trade a Pokemon
|Hatch an Egg
|Send a Gift to a friend
|5 Poke Balls
|Earn a Candy Walking with your Buddy
|5 Great Balls
It is also possible to get the shiny versions of Eevee and Hisuian Sneasel as a reward. However, shiny Wooloo is not in Pokemon GO yet.
Although, even if a couple of these Pokemon can be shiny, you’ll need to be extremely lucky to get them!
If you want some more substantial Research to sink your teeth into, you’re in luck! The Along the Routes event has also added new Timed Research and the A Route to New Friendships Special Research to complete!
