The Tunic of Memories is Link’s iconic Breath of the Wild armor and he can wear it again in The Legend of Zelda: TOTK!
Tears of the Kingdom’s Link may have a new look (and a new arm) but those who prefer his BOTW appearance are in luck.
As it turns out, there is a way to unlock the beautiful blue BOTW tunic we all fell in love with once again. The only problem is, it’s not the easiest task.
We already covered how to unlock the Champion’s Leathers armor – an upgraded version of Link’s BOTW gear – and it was a lot easier than this! But for the Breath of the Wild megafans, here’s how to get the Tunic of Memories in Zelda: TOTK.
How to Get the BOTW Tunic of Memories in Tears of the Kingdom
To get the Breath of the Wild Tunic (AKA the Tunic of Memories) in Zelda: TOTK, players need to find all 7 Bargainer Statues in The Depths.
TOTK fans will also need to complete the A Call From the Depths quest to return 4 eyes to the final Bargainer Statue and unlock its services.
Luckily, we have everything you need right here:
- All Bargainer Statue Locations in Tears of the Kingdom
- All 4 Eyes Locations in A Call From the Depths
Only after finding all 7 of the Poe vendors will the Bargainer Statues begin to sell the Tunic of Memories as part of their store inventories.
Once unlocked, Tunic of Memories will cost 400 Poes, which is a steep price to pay! But is the Breath of the Wild armor piece actually worth the cost?
The answer is… not really. The Tunic of Memories has a defense of just 4, and no special bonuses for wearing it.
It’s a nice nod to the best-selling Zelda game of all time, but it’s not something to take into battle against Ganondorf.
But while the Tunic of Memories is a blast from the past, here are the best armor sets you actually need to be using in Zelda: TOTK!
