According to Nintendo’s official listing, The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is a whopping 18.2 GB, making it the biggest-ever first-party game by the developer.

According to the title’s eShop page, the game is almost 4 GB larger than the original Breath of the Wild.

Tears of the Kingdom is going to no doubt be a massive success for Nintendo… but it’s also MASSIVE for Nintendo.

While 18 GB isn’t much by today’s video game standard, it’s worth noting that Nintendo Switch games aren’t usually anywhere near as large as PS5, Xbox Series X, or PC releases.

There are a few exceptions out there by third-party developers, of course, but Nintendo seems adept at keeping games to reasonable install sizes on its own platform.
