The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition is in such short supply that it’s become a new target for eBay resellers.
Scalpers are already reselling the new Breath of the Wild sequel’s Collector’s Edition pre-orders for as high as $300.
Thankfully, pre-orders likely aren’t over just yet. Here’s where to pre-order Tears of the Kingdom’s Collector’s Edition without heading to eBay!
In its recent Direct presentation, Nintendo officially revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is getting a Collector’s Edition.
This exclusive special edition comes with a steelbook case, a pin set, artbook, steel poster and more. With Tears of the Kingdom being one of 2023’s most highly-anticipated titles, of course fans were eager to snatch it up.

But instead of the standard $129.99 price tag, many Zelda-lovers will need to shell out as high as $300 to get their hands on the Collector’s Edition, should they need to rely on eBay.
After successfully placing pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition, which won’t actually release until May 12, 2023, many scalpers raced to eBay to list their new item. This has, unfortunately, become an all-too-common trend in the gaming industry.
Recently, we saw God of War Ragnarok’s Jotnar Edition selling for over $700 on the platform, a price that unlucky gamers had to either pay or lose out on their special edition forever.
And when this Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch OLED console finally drops, we can’t imagine what price it’ll go for online!
Thankfully, we should have an easier time picking up our Tears of the Kingdom amiibo!
