What is the Xbox Scorpio?

The Xbox Scorpio (commonly known as Project Scorpio) was previously announced at E3 2016 along with the Xbox One S. Microsoft have stated it will be the most powerful console ever made. Although this could just be speculation, the specs are starting to back this up.

The price is yet to be confirmed, but Microsoft have given us huge hints which many fans will be pleased about. Microsoft have confirmed that the Project Scorpio will cost more than the Xbox One S although this was expected. They have also stated that the Scorpio is going to be like a Gaming PC, which would usually cost thousands, however Microsoft have hinted that the Xbox Scorpio price will likely be around £350-£400.

All we know so far is that the console will be coming out Holiday 2017, so the exact released date is likely to come at microsoft’s E3 2017 full reveal of the Xbox Scorpio. The company will hold a briefing on Sunday, June 11 to confirm details regarding the console.
