Xbox Series X/S Restock: Target, GameStop, Microsoft, Walmart, & More Expected to Drop This Week – January 3-9

The holiday rush might be over but we’ve got a new Xbox Series X/S restock wave from January 3-9.

It’s been a few weeks of busy Xbox Series X/S restocks, and we’re betting the drops aren’t over yet. Now that the Christmas rush is over, there are fewer people on the hunt for a next-gen device but that doesn’t seem the restocks are done.

As always, after a holiday could prove to be your best chance to nab an Xbox Series X/S. But you’ll need to know where to look.

Recently, Xbox Series X restocks exploded at the end of December 2021. And 2022 is already proving that it has more to offer console hunters.

Meanwhile, check out our list of the most anticipated Xbox Series X/S games coming in 2022! You won’t want to miss out on what’s to come.

And now, here’s what we know about the Xbox Series X/S restock wave from January 3-9.

Xbox Series X/S Restocks – January 3-9

Target Xbox Series X/S Restock

Target Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: Dependent On Store

In case you haven’t heard, Target might just be the best place to find an Xbox Series X or S in 2022. If you have a local store, the retailer actually sells Xbox consoles to walk-ins every single week.

Of course, supply still isn’t enough to meet demand but heading into your local store first thing every day will ensure you can grab a console as soon as it arrives in stock.

Be sure to head to the Electronics department and ask the staff nicely for best results.

GameStop Xbox Series X/S Restock

GameStop Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: January 5-6 (Rumored)

Recently, GameStop has been the king of next-gen console drops. In fact, we’ve had 3 weeks of consistent in-store console restocks at GameStop over the holiday season.

Should the trend continue with another Xbox drop this week, expect these GameStop stores to have stock to sell.

On top of that, the retailer also offers regular online Xbox Series X/S drops. But if you’re interested in either, be sure to sign up for PowerUp Rewards Pro now!

Microsoft Xbox Series X/S Restock

Microsoft Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

Prior to the New Year, Microsoft was clearly trying its best to get Xbox consoles in the homes of its fans. But due to recent issues with scalpers breaking the Microsoft Store, the publisher has been taking matters into its own hands.

Recently, Microsoft has been offering consoles directly to fans. And the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X was even on offer recently, much to the delight of Xbox customers.

Make sure you sign up for an Xbox Series X invite of your own and you might get lucky in the New Year.

Walmart Xbox Series X/S Restock

Walmart Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

It has been a couple of weeks since Walmart last went live with Xbox consoles which means another drop is just around the corner. It’s worth noting that Walmart has been canceling next-gen orders recently, which doesn’t give buyers a lot of faith in the company.

On top of that, Walmart console purchases are notoriously slow to ship. However, purchasing a next-gen console is often worth the wait, if Walmart is your only option.

If Walmart does go live this week, we’ve got some tips to help you secure your device.

Antonline Xbox Series X/S Restock

Antonline Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

Over the Christmas break we saw Antonline drop both next-gen consoles several times over. As a smaller site than the major chains, it’s surprising to see Antonline manage to keep up with other retailers.

Perhaps the site is simply exhausting its stock before the New Year. Then again, after a year of excellent restocks, perhaps Antonline has managed to secure some additional Xbox consoles for 2022.

The online retailer tends to drop once a week in bundle-form. Put notifications on for the Antonline Twitter to get to drops first and you’ll have an easy Xbox Series X/S purchase secured.

Best Buy Xbox Series X/S Restock

Best Buy Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: Unlikely This Week

Recently, Best Buy dropped its final Xbox consoles of 2021 with a large restock. But with the drop taking place right at the end of December, it might be a little too early for January offerings.

If Best Buy has Xbox consoles this week, they’ll probably be for TotalTech members only. But with the membership service costing a ridiculous amount for a next-gen console, we doubt anyone will be taking the retailer up on its offer.

Amazon Xbox Series X/S Restock

Xbox Series X|S at Amazon

Amazon Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: Possible This Week

Of all the next-gen console suppliers, Amazon is the hardest to predict. That said, the online store does tend to drop Xbox stock at the end of each month lately.

Unfortunately, Amazon’s most recent restocks were ruined by scalper bots. And while some customers were able to secure a device, a great deal of stock may have gone to resellers this time around.

It’s not impossible that Amazon will have more stock going live this week. However, if not, we expect its next restock to be towards the end of January.

This is a bunch of Propaganda I've literally been searching Target site since yesterday and all it has been saying is stock unavailable. So now they're sold out.
