If you’re searching for an Xbox Series X/S restock between October 4-10, here are the retailers you need to watch!
It seems that right now, Xbox Series X/S consoles are in shorter supply than even the PS5. And it’s proving just as difficult to track down the next-gen console as it was when it launched, almost a year ago.
However, we just got our first Xbox Series X in-store restock at a major retailer in ages! This is definitely helpful, especially as more Xbox Series X orders are getting canceled lately.
If you’re wondering, why there’s a shortage of Xbox Series X consoles after all this time, we recently did a deep dive into the cause.
Meanwhile, Microsoft finally restocked the Halo Infinite Elite Controllers last week.
We’re hoping to see more drops coming soon, especially as the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X is selling for insane money on eBay.
Find all of last week’s Xbox Series X/S restocks here!
And now, here are all the retailers that we expect to have an Xbox Series X/S restock between October 4-10.
All Xbox Series X/S Restocks – October 4-10
Staples Xbox Series X/S Restock
Staples Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
This isn’t one we had expected to add to our list this week, but the evidence is hard to deny! It looks like Staples will have an in-store Xbox Series X/S restock very soon!
More and more retailers are realizing the potential of an in-store restock, and it looks as though Staples may be going live this week with next-gen drops.
Be sure to check your local store to avoid disappointment! Thanks to LordOfRestocks on Twitter for discovering this upcoming drop.
Microsoft Xbox Series X/S Restock
Microsoft Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
Week after week, Microsoft manages to go live with another Xbox Series X/S restock. The console developer is currently the most reliable Xbox restocker, and it’s not even close.
However, last week’s Microsoft Xbox Series X restock was over in a heartbeat. Could this week spell the end of Microsoft’s impressive streak?
Antonline Xbox Series X/S Restock
Antonline Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
Although Antonline isn’t the biggest retailer, the online-only store has Xbox stock for us almost every week. Unfortunately, last week’s drop was only Xbox Series S consoles, but we’re hopeful that it’ll come through with a Series X for us this time.
Antonline will have the Limited Edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X before its release date next month, representatives are confirming. With only a few weeks to go until launch day, we’re keeping our eyes peeled for this drop coming very soon.
Bear in mind that Antonline exclusively sells next-gen consoles in bundle form. With that in mind, you’ll pay a little more for the device, but scalpers will struggle to buy the bundles first.
Amazon Xbox Series X/S Restock
Amazon Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
One of the most difficult stores to predict is also the largest online retailer in the world. For whatever reason, Amazon doesn’t seem too bothered about next-gen consoles in the US and only occasionally goes live.
It’s been some time since the last Amazon Xbox Series X restock, according to this list of when the Xbox Series X/S was last in-stock!
We know that Amazon will likely have Halo Infinite Xbox Series X pre-orders available soon too. If this is true, we expect the consoles to go live shortly before its upcoming release date.
Best Buy Xbox Series X/S Restock
Best Buy Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
It’s only been a couple of weeks since this huge in-store Xbox restock attracted thousands of gamers to Best Buy! Since then, the retailer has already gone live once more!
Will the major retailer be able to keep up with this constant supply of next-gen consoles? We’re doubtful, but we can definitely see more Xbox Series X/S restocks in Best Buy’s near future.
However, huge queues camping outside of Best Buy stores being an issue, we wonder if the store will return to in-person restocks anytime soon.
Walmart Xbox Series X/S Restock
Walmart Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
2 weeks ago, Walmart had one of the biggest next-gen restocks of the year. The retailer even put more pre-orders live for the Limited Edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X at long last!
Walmart does tend to have new console drops on the regular, but there’s a catch. Some fans are waiting for weeks for their Xbox to ship, as the retailer sells consoles it doesn’t have yet.
What’s more, the new Walmart Press & Hold button is making it hard to buy your Xbox Series X/S. If the next-gen systems go live this week, make sure to be there early!
GameStop Xbox Series X/S Restock
GameStop Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: October 7
Recently, GameStop has been testing next-gen restocks in-store at select locations! We’re hoping that these will soon open up to the entire US, but that remains to be seen.
GameStop also had a massive online PS5 restock recently, that might the store’s biggest ever.
And this week, GameStop is confirming an Xbox Series X restock on October 7!
The upcoming drop celebrates the launch of Far Cry 6, allowing gamers to pick up the game alongside a brand-new console. However, we recommend being a PowerUp Rewards Pro member for a shot at the console launch.
Target Xbox Series X/S Restock
Target Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
Last week, Target went live with new restocks for the PS5, but fans might note that it’s been a while since the retailer announced a large Xbox drop. The reason for this is that Target handles next-gen restocks differently from other retailers.
Instead of making large-scale drops nationwide, the store offers local console restocks as and when they arrive. Be sure to check in with your local stores!
That’s all we know about the Xbox Series X/S restock wave from October 4-10 for now! We’ll be sure to update this page with more details as they arrive.
Meanwhile, be sure to unlock the Halo Infinite exclusive Ice Unicorn emblem before it’s too late!
And then get ready, because we’ll be playing the Battlefield 2042 Beta before the end of this week! Unfortunately, a new rumor suggests that Battlefield 2042 could be delayed to March 2022 if the test run goes poorly…
And in case you missed it, Phil Spencer recently talked about the end of Xbox One support!
