Xbox Series X/S Restock: Best Buy, Antonline, Walmart, Microsoft & More Expected to Drop This Week – August 9-15

It’s another week for those waiting on an Xbox Series X/S restock – here are the retailers to watch from August 9-15.

Last week was a disappointing time for Xbox Series X/S hunters. Despite Xbox stock getting more common out in the wild, a lot of major retailers missed their shot at dropping in the first week of August.

This is particularly disappointing given the fact that Halo Infinite’s Tech Preview got a lot of players hyped for the next-gen console. If you missed out last time, sign up for the second, larger Halo Infinite Tech Preview here!

Meanwhile, Halo meets Portal in a new game that’s blowing up online. And a new Splitgate update means no more waiting in long queues to play!

Thankfully, we hear that the Xbox Series X/S shortage is almost over, according to Microsoft.

Find all of last week’s Xbox Series X/S restocks here!

Best Buy Xbox Series X/S Restock

Best Buy Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: August 10-12 (Rumored)

We’re well overdue a Best Buy restock, with last week marking 3 weeks without a drop. We can be relatively certain that an Xbox Series X/S restock is on its way, and hopefully, this week is the one to watch.

Best Buy was a fairly regular restocker before this recent hiccup, so we’re confident that more stock will be coming soon.

Usually, Best Buy restocks take place between Tuesday and Thursday so be sure to keep your ear to the ground.

Antonline Xbox Series X/S Restock

Xbox Series X|S at Antonline

Antonline Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

Week after week, Antonline hits its mark with a new Xbox Series X/S restock. However, it doesn’t keep consistent dates, so you’ll have to stay tuned to the Antonline Twitter to find out about drops going live.

Lately, Antonline has only been restocking Xbox Series S consoles, which is causing a lot of disappointment for those after the more powerful Series X. However, the retailer occasionally has the Series X in stock too, and it’s still dropping every week.

However, it’s been known to be one of the easiest stores to buy from. And only selling consoles in bundles can help stop scalpers from grabbing the Xbox first!

Walmart Xbox Series X/S Restock

Xbox Series X|S at Walmart

Walmart Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: August 12

Although Walmart has dropped Xbox Series X/S restocks every week for the last 4 weeks, many consumers aren’t happy with the brand. After all, the major retailer is still waiting to ship consoles from July and it’s still selling new units.

Many fans believe that Walmart is selling consoles that it doesn’t have, and last week’s September dispatch dates didn’t help matters.

However, it’s looking like Walmart secretly restocking Xbox consoles in its U.S. stores instead. If you’ve got a local retailer, it may be worth stopping in to see if there’s an Xbox already in stock!

Microsoft Xbox Series X/S Restock

Microsoft Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

Recently, Microsoft has been dropping Xbox Series X/S consoles each week with great consistency. The exception to the rule was last week, which was a rare miss for the publisher.

Buying an Xbox Series X/S from Microsoft itself guarantees a good price and quick shipping, but it’s surprisingly not always the most reliable restocker. Can the company maintain its good reputation as we head further into August?

GameStop Xbox Series X/S Restock

Xbox Series X|S at GameStop

GameStop Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 3 weeks since our last Xbox restock at GameStop. However, if the retailer returns to form this week, and we believe it will, you have a much higher chance at nabbing the next-gen console if you follow these instructions.

It seems that signing up for GameStop’s PowerUp Rewards Pro membership will net you a better chance at the Xbox restock if it goes live again this week.

What’s more, it appears that Apple Pay is the best way to checkout your new Xbox Series X/S, with LordOfRestocks on Twitter dubbing the payment method “GameStop’s weakness”.

Never fear though, non-members often get their shot at upcoming drops too (though that wasn’t the case with last week’s PS5 restock). We recommend signing up for the service if GameStop announces an imminent restock for that extra chance at nabbing a device.

Target Xbox Series X/S Restock

Xbox Series X|S at Target

Target Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

There’s great news for those looking to find their Xbox Series X/S at Target. After all, the retailer recently revealed that it’s making MAJOR changes to its Xbox Series X/S restocks.

In case you missed the news, Xbox consoles are no longer getting restock waves at Target stores. Instead, consoles will simply drop when they arrive in stock.

This is an excellent sign that shows we’re truly coming to the end of the Xbox shortage – but consoles are still suffering from heavy demand.

Amazon Xbox Series X/S Restock

Xbox Series X|S at Amazon

Amazon Xbox Series X/S Restock: This Week (Rumored)

It’s always hard to predict exactly when Amazon will go live with an Xbox restock. We last saw an Xbox Series X/S restock on Amazon Prime Day, and we’ve been waiting for another ever since.

However, Amazon did have a PS5 restock 3 weeks ago, which made us think we could be getting an Xbox Series X/S before long! There’s been no sign of it yet though, so we might be waiting a bit longer to hear more from the retailer.

Recently, one Amazon employee leaked thousands of extra consoles being ready to ship, so it’s not impossible that more Xbox Series X/S are in stock right now.

That’s all we know about the Xbox Series X/S restocks from August 9-15 right now, but be sure to stay tuned for updated information as it arrives.

Right now, Xbox confirms that it’s working on more story-based games than ever before. Single-player fans will certainly have a great time on Series X, especially as Starfield is exclusive to Xbox now!

And with Phil Spencer announcing plans for future Xbox studio acquisitions, could another big studio takeover be on the horizon? More Xbox exclusives could be here before we know it!

Bear in mind that if you’re a Windows 10 or Xbox One owner, you can reserve an Xbox Series X/S now!

What a joke...not any new information and still worse than lousy chances to get one.
