Xbox and Nintendo President Congratulate Sony on PlayStation 5 Launch

In the spirit of all things Gaming, both the President of Nintendo, Doug Bowser, and Xbox have congratulated Sony on the launch of their latest console, the PlayStation 5.

It's certainly an exciting time for the gaming industry at the moment. A couple of days ago we had the launch of the all-new Xbox Series X, Xbox's new flagship console.

We are also starting to hear rumors about the emergence of a new Nintendo Switch model, the Switch Pro.

Today however it's Sony's turn to steal the show, with their own launch of the much anticipated, PlayStation 5.

It's certainly safe to say that the time is now for Gamers to decide on which console they want to purchase first, with so many to choose from, who can blame them either.

with these new, exciting, and shiny consoles emerging, you might expect a modicum of competition between Xbox, Sony, and Nintendo. Especially with regards to advertising and promoting their own products.

However, that does not appear to be the case and the Gaming industry's biggest giants are eager to support Sony with the launch of the Playstation 5.

Sony Congratulated on PlayStation 5 Launch

At approximately 1:20 PM today, Doug Bowser, the current President of Nintendo of America tweeted this message directly to @PlayStation on Twitter.

In the usual spirit of Nintendo's warm, friendly and all-inclusive company ethos.

Other's were keen to join in with Nintendo's message, with Xbox following suit shortly after, tweeting this:

It's certainly nice to see a bit of healthy competition. but nicer still to see some positive support.

It didn't take long for other companies to congratulate Sony, Bethesda Game Studios tweeted their own message in support of Sony's Playstation 5 launch.

Bethesda Game Studios' tweet comes equipped with a very thoughtful graphic of Dovahkin and Vault Boy peeking proudly out from next to the Playstation 5.

The Playstation 5 launch event wouldn't be complete without it's lead System Architect, Mark Cerny proudly proclaiming his own achievement.

Cerny, who is the driving force behind the Playstation 5 tweeted this, donning the persona of a proud father:

Gamers are likely feeling very positive about the next-generation consoles. However, It is refreshing to see such a positive reaction from the companies themselves.

Congratulations to both Xbox and Sony on a successful launch. Despite the fake rumors of Microsoft's Xbox Series X|S producing smoke, everything seems to have gone smoothly. We're looking forward to what's in store from these powerful new machines.
