Xbox Game Pass – More Classic Titles Arrive Today

More popular titles are coming to Xbox Game Pass today. For both PC and console – Let’s check out what’s landing in the next 24 hours!

Xbox Game Pass is going from strength to strength as more games appear on the platform. The service is revolutionizing how many of us enjoy games – so seeing more arrive regularly is always exciting.

When the service works in partnership with Xbox Cloud Gaming across all devices – we suspect it could be an unstoppable force. Especially once Xbox Cloud Gaming comes to PC and iOS.

This could become even more important if the rumors of a portable Xbox console come true.

Xbox Game Pass Games Arriving Today

The next batch of titles are all games with a strong fanbase, so we expect this will be a fun weekend for anyone who’s yet to experience them.

Here’s what’s coming today:

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life

The sixth chapter in the long-running Japanese crime series Yakuza initially released on Sony consoles worldwide in 2018.

Today the game comes to Xbox One for the first time. However, the game will also be playable on the Xbox Series X/S and PC.

It will also have Cloud functionality. Nice.

Octopath Traveller

Originally released on the Nintendo Switch in 2018, Octopath Traveller is a Super NES-inspired RPG from Square Enix. It features a distinctive retro art style that is reminiscent of classic Final Fantasy games.

The plot and gameplay also resemble Final Fantasy, but despite its retro trappings, this is a wholly modern adventure.

Available on Xbox today for the first time for console and PC.

Genesis Noir

A brand new game that releases today from devs Feral Cat Den. We know this is a single-player action-adventure puzzle game with an indy flavor.

Players take on the role of No Man, who apparently only wants to sell his custom-made watches and save his significant other. Naturally, he’ll need to transcend time and space to do either.

Coming today to console and PC.

Coming to PC today, Supraland looks like a crazy cross between Toy Story and Splatoon! Which sounds pretty intriguing to us.

The game’s premise is to save your toy village in a first-person open-world puzzle platformer, defeating hordes of enemies on your quest to find the Blue King. – We’re looking forward to learning what any of that means!

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire

Also coming to Xbox Game Pass PC is Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, which was one of the most absorbing RPGs we’ve ever played. As was its predecessor.

Deadfire feels like Baldur’s Gate and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag all rolled into one. Its arrival on Game Pass is a real treat for those yet to experience it.

In other Xbox news, Xbox Live is no more, being replaced by something new with significant ramifications for the Xbox brand's future.

We’ve also been given our first look at two new special edition Xbox Series X/S controllers!

Don’t forget, there’s an Xbox Indie Showcase happening TOMORROW – showing off over 100 Xbox games.
