If you’re wondering which Xbox Game Pass subscriptions come with access to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, we’ve got the answer!

For the first time ever, a new Call of Duty game will be arriving on day one on Xbox Game Pass. Now that Microsoft officially owns Activision Blizzard, it was only a matter of time before COD games began to arrive on Game Pass.

But in late May 2024, Xbox officially announced that Black Ops 6 would be the first Call of Duty title to arrive day one on the company’s subscription services.

Here’s which one you need to subscribe to in order to play it on October 25, 2024:

Which Game Pass Plan Do You Need to Play Black Ops 6?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available to play as part of Game Pass Console (existing members only), Ultimate, or PC subscription plans.

The new Call of Duty will not be included as part of Game Pass Core or Standard plans.

Recently, Xbox announced that it is discontinuing Game Pass Console – but existing subscribers can maintain their membership and access Black Ops 6 for the service’s original $10.99 price.

Those on Xbox Series X/S or Xbox One will be able to subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate and access Black Ops 6 for as long as they maintain that subscription.

Players on PC will instead be able to subscribe to Game Pass PC as their cheapest option, though they can also choose the Game Pass Ultimate plan if they’d like the added benefits.

Doing so will unlock access to both the console and PC library of games, as well as additional benefits such as EA Play titles and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Therefore, if you’re only interested in the Black Ops 6 Campaign, or you just want to try the game, you’ll be able to do so for almost no cost!

Does Game Pass Get Early Access to Black Ops 6 Beta?

Yes, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get early access to the Black Ops 6 Beta when it goes live.

On top of that, they’ll also get access to all three Woods Operator skins which come as a pre-order bonus for those purchasing the game digitally.

However, Activision Support reports that these skins will only be available for those fans who were active subscribers prior to October 25, 2024, and then continue to maintain their memberships.

Bear in mind that even if you opt to purchase Black Ops 6 outright, you’ll still need a Game Pass Core membership to play online modes.

Furthermore, Black Ops 6 requires a continuous internet connection to play, even if you own the game.
