Xbox Announces Latest Wave of Xbox Game Pass Titles

Xbox Game Pass' latest offerings have now been announced, and they're some of the most exciting titles to date.

Xbox has been getting some use out of their Game Pass service. With every new announcement they make of free games for subscribers, hype gets even bigger for the next drop.

With their last announcement being incredibly exciting, fans could hardly wait for the next line of games to come to Game Pass. Lucky for us, they've finally been announced official Xbox Game Pass website.

The Game Pass has been offering next-gen players some great games to get them playing with the capabilities of the new console.

That is, if they can get their hands on them; it's been suggested that Xbox Series X stock shortages could last until summer 2021. Plus, Microsoft have officially commented on their current stock problems.

The Game Pass has been a veritable money-mill for Microsoft, as Xbox has reported their insane new total subscriber count.

Project Winter (Android, Console and PC)

An interesting twist on survival that's recently been popularized by Among Us is the focus on deception. Project Winter takes this concept and runs with it, in an 8-player multiplayer survival game that relies on communication and teamwork.

Brave the wilderness and gather resources to escape the elements; but maybe your friends aren't as friendly as you once thought.

Project Winter comes to Xbox Game Pass on February 4th.

The Falconeer (Android, Console and PC)

In The Falconeer, take control of a giant, powerful warbird. Take to the skies over the mysterious seas as you take on factions and clans who seek to stand in your way. Dive, dodge and barrel-roll your way to an advantage, and command the seas and skies.

The game looks utterly stunning, and is optimised for next-gen gaming too, so it's one for you Series X & S players.

Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones (Android and Console)

In this (would you believe it) stealth game, you play as a clone attempting to break out of a technically advanced, creepy testing facility. Break out of all 60 levels connected by an open hub world, and try not to die along the way.

Although, as a clone, death isn't really the end of the world any more.

Jurassic World Evolution (Android and Console)

In perhaps the most exciting game coming to the Game Pass in this reveal, build your very own Jurassic Park with Jurassic World Evolution.

Develop your park, bioengineer dinosaurs and "accidentally" release them on the unsuspecting patrons of your masterful creation. Get practicing your Jeff Goldblum impression, because this game proves that life, uh, finds a way.

The Games Leaving Game Pass

Of course, as more games join the pass, some others will have to leave.

Thankfully though, there's not an awful lot of them going just yet; but keep an eye on them if they're ones you've been meaning to download!

Leaving February 15th:

  • De Blob (Console)
  • Ninja Gaiden II (Console)
  • World of Horror (PC)

And leaving February 16:

  • Shadows of the Damned (EA Play/Console)

And that's everything! It's certainly bound to be enough to tide us over until the next announcement.

These Game Pass announcements have been a source of great press for Xbox. It's much needed, especially after Microsoft's huge U-turn over Xbox Live Gold Prices.
