The 2023 Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day event has a brand-new selection of wild Pokemon for trainers to encounter and catch.
From February 8 – 14, 2023, Pokemon trainers will be able to encounter and catch the following Pokemon more often:
- Alomomola
- Audino
- Chansey
- Flabebe
- Frillish
- Furfrou
- Illumise
- Morelull
- Nidroan (Female)
- Nidoran (Male)
- Skitty
- Volbeat
- Woobat
Which version of Flabebe you can encounter depends on your location in the world, as the different colors of Flabebe are region exclusive. Additionally, while you can only encounter the Natural Form of Furfrou, you can use Candy to change it to any of the many Furfrou forms in Pokemon GO!
What’s more, in addition to being caught in the wild, plenty of these Pokemon can also be hatched from the new 7km Valentine’s Day Egg!
Refer to the table below to find out how rare encountering each of these wild Pokemon is, as well as whether there is a shiny version. Plus, we have also included the regions where each color of Flabebe will be spawning.

If you want to encounter more of these wild Pokemon, there are a couple of things you can do. Make sure to use your Daily Adventure Incense every day while you’re walking. Or, if you’ve got a PokeStop nearby, then you can use a Lure Module to bring the Pokemon straight to you!
