The 2023 Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day event has a brand-new selection of wild Pokemon for trainers to encounter and catch.
From February 8 – 14, 2023, Pokemon trainers will be able to encounter and catch the following Pokemon more often:
- Nidroan (Female)
- Nidoran (Male)
Which version of Flabebe you can encounter depends on your location in the world, as the different colors of Flabebe are region exclusive. Additionally, while you can only encounter the Natural Form of Furfrou, you can use Candy to change it to any of the many Furfrou forms in Pokemon GO!
What’s more, in addition to being caught in the wild, plenty of these Pokemon can also be hatched from the new 7km Valentine’s Day Egg!
Refer to the table below to find out how rare encountering each of these wild Pokemon is, as well as whether there is a shiny version. Plus, we have also included the regions where each color of Flabebe will be spawning.
|Pokemon||Image||Can it be Shiny?||Spawn Rarity|
|Flabebe (Blue)||No||Common (Asia-Pacific region only)|
|Flabebe (Orange)||No||Rare (Appearing worldwide)|
|Flabebe (Red)||No||Common (Europe, Asia and Middle East regions)|
|Flabebe (White)||No||Rare (Appearing worldwide)|
|Flabebe (Yellow)||No||Common (The Americas region)|
The shiny version of most of these Pokemon is available to encounter and catch, but the chances of finding them are still very low. Find out the exact chances of encountering shiny Pokemon in Pokemon GO!
If you want to encounter more of these wild Pokemon, there are a couple of things you can do. Make sure to use your Daily Adventure Incense every day while you’re walking. Or, if you’ve got a PokeStop nearby, then you can use a Lure Module to bring the Pokemon straight to you!
