Why Were the Slurp Legends Skins Disabled in Fortnite?

Yesterday, Epic Games disabled the Slurp Legends skins in Fortnite matches, and here’s why.

Despite being one of the most popular games of all time, Fortnite still has its fair share of issues. With almost five years of content, it’s bound to happen sometimes.

Usually, these are small issues that go unnoticeable by most players. However, sometimes they can be annoying, such as the empty chest bug in Fortnite.

These more prominent issues require bigger fixes, and sometimes, being disabled from the game until further notice.

Why Can’t I Use My Slurp Legends Skins in Fortnite?

Epic Games disabled the Slurp Legends due to an invisibility bug, that made the entire skin except for the head transparent.

All three of the skins from the Slurp Legends Pack, Slurp Bandolette, Slurp Jonesy, and Slurp Leviathan, are affected by this bug.

The bug occurs when players would reach max shields, and then use a Shadow Bomb on themselves. Once the shadow effect wore off, players would become invisible. However, weapons, Back Bling, and the head of the skin would remain visible.

If you used one of these skins frequently, you may be disappointed. However, you can always get some free cosmetics by completing Fortnite Fall Fest quests!

When Will Slurp Legends Pack Skins Be Re-Enabled in Fortnite?

We’re unsure of when the Slurp Legends skins will be enabled again in Fortnite.

The Fortnite social media accounts weren’t the ones to announce it. In fact, they haven’t made any official announcements yet, with the news primarily coming from Fortnite leakers such as iFireMonkey.

Epic Games is likely working on a fix right now, however, it’s unclear when this will arrive. It could be a few days, or it could be until the next update arrives.

We’ll be sure to update this article once Epic Games has something to announce.
