Warzone players still want an FOV slider on console versions of the game, and this frustrating clip shows exactly why.
If you want to win at Warzone, you’ll need to know exactly where your enemies are. However, console players are at a huge disadvantage when it comes to spotting enemies.
Warzone players on PC can increase their field of view to see more of their surroundings, yet players on PlayStation and Xbox can’t. This is just one of the many advantages PC Warzone players have.

Warzone Needs an FOV Slider on PS4, PS5 and Xbox
This issue simply won’t go away though, as Warzone players have once again begun to ask for this feature to be added. This is thanks to a ridiculous clip on the Warzone subreddit, showing how much of a difference an FOV slider would make.
The clip shows a player creeping through the central prison building on Warzone’s Rebirth Island map. Then, out of nowhere, a camper in the corner of the room kills him.
While some would argue that the player could have been more careful in checking corners, this shows exactly why PlayStation and Xbox versions of Warzone need an option to increase Field of View.
With a higher FOV, they would have easily spotted the camper. Alternatively, players could use the new Combat Scout Warzone Perk to get more intel on enemies.
Unfortunately, Warzone developer Raven Software has no plans to add an FOV slider on console soon. Although, at least an improved anti-cheat system is in the works.
Meanwhile, players think that Warzone Season 5 is the worst update ever. Players want way more changes than just an FOV slider.
The update has also introduced new glitches to the game. Warzone’s Red Doors are now killing players who enter them.
Hopefully, Raven Software will fix this glitch before the ‘Numbers’ event in Warzone arrives. The Red Doors will be a key part of this event.
