Turtwig is back in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, but players won’t be able to choose them as a starter this time around. Players will be able to find him roaming around the Hisui Region.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus has changed the way players can navigate the world of Pokemon forever. Gone are gym battles and random encounters. Now trainers will need to encounter the Pokemon they want out in the wild.
Turtwig was the Grass-Type starter from the original Sinnoh Region. The Hisui Region is actually what the Sinnoh Region was originally called in ancient times. So it makes sense that Turtwig would be roaming around somewhere.
Here’s where players can find Turtwig and capture them for their team.

How to Catch Turtwig Location & Map
Once you know where to find Turtwig in Pokemon Legends: Arceus capturing isn’t too much of a problem.
Turtwig can only be found in the second area you encounter in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the Droning Meadow in the Crimson Mirelands. Or players can also trade for it via Pokemon Trading.
The easiest way to get Turtwig is to head to the starting camp and head northeast. Once you reach the Droning Meadow then you will make your way southeast to a small cove. Then your hunt for Turtwig begins!

Once you have found a Turtwig then you should be careful when approaching it. Turtwig has always been a timid Pokemon, and in this game that’s no different. Be too rash and there is a chance you’ll scare the Turtwig away so using stealth is highly recommended.
Turtwig is a Grass-Type Pokemon that has won over the hearts of many. Once players capture it they can evolve it to Grotle at level 18 and into Torterra at level 32.

It's Droning Meadow, not drowning meadow as stated a couple of times. Good guide though, thanks!
