When Will Pokemon Unite Release on Mobile?

New Pokemon-themed MOBA Pokemon Unite is about to launch on Nintendo Switch – but when is its mobile release date?

If you’re a fan of games like League of Legends or DOTA 2 but you’ve always wanted a more easygoing alternative, Pokemon Unite could be for you. The upcoming Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game features iconic Pokemon characters battling it out in strategic team-based gameplay.

The game is set to launch imminently, and it’s completely free for all users. But with the title coming to Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, there’s been some confusion about exactly when the game is releasing.

It’s already possible to pre-load Pokemon Unite on Nintendo Switch ahead of its launch on July 21, 2021. Here’s what we know about the upcoming mobile release date for Pokemon Unite!

Pokemon Unite Mobile Release Date

Currently, while Pokemon Unite has a Nintendo Switch release date of July 21, the mobile version will be launching in September 2021.

According to the official Pokemon website, Pokemon Unite will release on mobile in September 2021. You’ll have to wait a little longer to take the game with you in your pocket, but the title is at least portable on Nintendo Switch.

Of course, for fast-paced MOBA games, we definitely recommend using a wired internet connection. And the new Nintendo Switch OLED dock will give you the best, wired connection possible!

Thankfully, you can purchase the new Nintendo Switch dock without paying for the console. After all, many Nintendo fans are calling the Switch OLED ‘useless’ already.

And this Nintendo employee even recommends not buying the Switch OLED unless you like the screen! Of course, we’d certainly like to see how Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl’s new graphical boost looks on the OLED screen.
