We are getting close to the popular time among shooter-game-aficionados; the next Call of Duty title reveal. If the rumors are true, Call of Duty 2020 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessors and will release at the end of this year.
The month of May is the go-to time frame for developers to reveal what the year’s game is going to be. However, we are living through something unprecedented at the moment and everything has been pushed back. Activision has confirmed that COD 2020 is still on track for later this year, but plans can still be subject to change.
In addition, the latest rumors indicate that Call of Duty 2020 will be tied to the Black Ops franchise in some way, shape, or form. We know that Treyarch employees have been acting really sneaky on Twitter. Several of them have removed information in their profiles, making fans believe that they are working on some “secret” project.
Call of Duty 2020 Reveal Date (Prediction)
At the moment, it is really difficult to put a stamp on the Call of Duty 2020 reveal date. The global pandemic has made the world a mess (including everything from movies to video games). However, if the rumors and discussion online are true, Treyarch and Activision will stick to the program and shed light on the upcoming title later this month.
Call of Duty has had its fair share of reveals, so perhaps if we take a look at these dates, this might give us a better estimate of when to expect the next one.
