Ashika Island has been removed from the Warzone playlists to make way for the brand new Resurgence map Vondel.
While some players eagerly anticipate diving into this fresh battleground, others may find themselves disappointed by the absence of Ashika Island.
Fear not, fans of Ashika Island, as a return date has already been confirmed for this Warzone map!
When Will Ashika Island Return to Warzone?
Ashika Island will return on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, as confirmed by Call of Duty. Playlist updates always take place on Wednesdays, so this is when the map will return.
However, when it comes back, fans can only play this map in the Quads squad size with no other sizes available.
Players looking to play as a smaller squad will have to wait until June 28, 2023, to see if the developers add more options.
In the meantime, you will have to play the modes currently available in the Battle Royale game.

With three maps now in Call of Duty: Warzone, players can expect a ton of rotation between maps and squad sizes.
As it is the only big map, Al Mazrah will likely be a permanent fixture for now. However, Ashika Island and Vondel could rotate between each other.
However, in the June 21 playlist update, Warzone players can try out every map. Make sure to check back each Wednesday to see which maps, squad sizes, and modes will feature for the next week.
