The 3rd Person Playlist should return to Warzone 2 in two weeks’ time on March 1st, 2023. It was previously reintroduced to Warzone 2 two weeks’ ago, having been removed two weeks’ before that.
However, it is unclear when it will return to MW2. Unlike Warzone 2, the 3rd Person mode in MW2 doesn’t disappear and reappear at regular intervals.
The Third Person mode was removed from MW2 in January, but brought back five days later after fans complained about its absence.

Why Was Third Person Mode Removed From Warzone 2 & MW2?
The 3rd Person Playlist was likely removed from both Warzone 2 and MW2 to accommodate for the introduction of Season 2’s new modes and maps.
Therefore, to ensure that those modes and maps get the spotlight when they launch, the Third Person Playlists were rotated out.
After all, Season 2 saw the highly anticipated release of the Resurgence mode in Warzone 2, as well as the addition of Gun Game in MW2.
Of course, the 3rd Person mode is rotated out of Warzone 2 every two weeks’ by default. It would have been rotated out regardless of whether Season 2 had dropped on February 15 or not.
