Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is keeping players busy with a variety of online events, including Blue Star Raids!
Aside from all the content players get from the different story paths in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Game Freak is constantly providing a stream of online content.
Part of that content strategy is Tera Raid Battle Events that take place regularly. One way the developer differentiates these special Raids is by making them a different color.
Here is everything you need to know about the Blue Stars Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet!
Why Do Some Raids Have Blue Stars in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet?
The Blue Stars in some Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Raids indicate these are part of special ongoing online events. Usually, Blue Star Raids range from four to seven stars, depending on the event, and some are limited to black crystals.
As well, sometimes the Pokemon featured in these Raids, like Dragon-Type Tera Charizard, can’t be obtained by any other means in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How Can I Join a Blue Stars Raid?
You can join a special event Blue Stars Raid by interacting with one of the glowing crystal locations marked on your map or, more easily, from the Tera Raid option in the Poke Portal menu.
