The latest Warzone FOV slider rumors have been shut down by Activision, disappointing players on PlayStation and Xbox.
Warzone is one of the most competitive games on the market right now. With only one squad winning every game of over 150 players, the competition is always tough.
This means players do whatever they can to give themselves an advantage. However, not every advantage is fair.
PC players have plenty of advantages in Warzone over their PlayStation and Xbox counterparts, but the major one is field of view.
But first, check out the shocking side-by-side comparison of PC vs console field of view in Warzone.
Will Warzone Get an FOV Slider on PS5 & Xbox Series X
Players had been asking for an FOV slider in console versions of Warzone for a long time now. However, a while ago, a leaker revealed that Warzone on PS5 and Xbox Series X would not get adjustable FOV.
Despite this, just a day ago, a supposed leak came out saying that Warzone would get a next-gen update with FOV slider in Season 5.
However, Activision has apparently debunked this rumor, according to the Twitter account Modern Warzone.
“A representative from Activision has reached out to clarify that the tinyurl link and placeholder page were ‘bogus’. While they would not confirm or deny all of the information in this article, they clarify that ‘all the field of view (FOV) stuff is wrong’.”Modern Warzone
This will definitely be disappointing news to many Warzone fans who were hoping for an FOV slider soon, but it’s not all doom and gloom as it could still arrive later down the line. Plus, the Warzone Season 5 release date is right around the corner, and it’ll be packed with exciting content.
