It appears Verdansk will mark its return to Warzone in 2023 after the release of Warzone 2.0, according to an Activision employee.

That said, it seems an Activision employee has confirmed the return of Verdansk. Although, you’ll have to wait for it.
Verdansk Coming Back to Warzone in 2023, Activision Employee Confirms
While the devs at Raven confirmed “no map rotation” will be coming to Warzone, it looks like Verdansk will make its way back into the game next year.
Competitive Warzone player ‘Dens1ty_’ took to Twitter to share a clip from the LegionFarm livestream. During the livestream, an Activision employee confirmed that Verdansk will be coming back to Warzone sometime in 2023.
However, the map will return only on certain platforms. They also confirmed that Warzone 2 will be getting a “new big map”.
With Activision set to support Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone with content for over two years, the new map will definitely spark a lot of interest among long-time fans of the franchise.
With that said, many in the community believe that Verdansk’s return might be limited to the mobile version only.
But with many players including TimTheTatman wanting Verdansk to return to Warzone, this news will surely get their hopes up.
