It appears Warzone players looking to use snipers in Caldera are giving up and adapting to the new meta.
It has been over a month since the Pacific update went live in Warzone. The game took a step in a new direction and introduced plenty of content and a brand new map for players to enjoy.
Now that the fans have had time to adjust to the changes, many Warzone Pacific players are finding Caldera boring.
With that said, many players also have concerns about the sniper rifles and their lack of presence in matches as of late.
Sniper Rifles Not in Much Use In Caldera as Warzone Players Replace Them With New Meta Weapons
Sniping has been an essential aspect of every Call of Duty title. But it seems that the players are finding it ineffective due to the varying terrain in Caldera.
With the integration of Vanguard and Warzone, the battle royale increased its weapon arsenal significantly. As a result, Warzone players were complaining that it’s almost impossible to keep up with the weapons meta.
Reddit user ‘Twichycat‘ took to Warzone’s subreddit to share their experience while playing on the new map. The player stated that they are engaging in mid to close-range battles more often and seldom die to snipers in Caldera.
Many in the community chimed in with their experience as well and feel that sniping aggressively has gone downhill.
“I defiantly use the terrain a lot more and try to avoid buildings. Sniping has taken a back seat as I feel it is not worth it anymore. I plan my path more from cover to cover and think every bush is going to kill me,” said Reddit user ‘Getout22‘.
While few in the community have a different experience during their matches in Caldera, a majority of the community have replaced their snipers with guns like the Bren. If you also want to keep up with the meta, check out the best Bren loadout for Caldera.
