Warzone Season 4: Players Report Lag Spikes, Disconnects, Errors & More

Warzone Season 4 is finally here, but players aren’t able to enjoy their experience due to lag spikes, disconnects, errors, and more.

At its core, Warzone Season 4 should be the best update in months. After all, there’s a great array of new Warzone content to enjoy, new POIs to explore, and one of the best balance patches we’ve ever had.

The exception, of course, is Warzone’s most overpowered gun in Season 4. But Raven Software is already promising a nerf is coming to the devastating MG 82 LMG.

But unfortunately, we’re not able to enjoy Warzone Season 4 right now, despite it being a breath of fresh air for the battle royale.

Warzone Lag Spikes, Disconnects, Errors & More – Season 4

Only days after the Warzone Season 4 update, players are reporting major lag spikes, disconnects, errors, and more.

The issues are getting so severe that Warzone Season 4 is almost unplayable on PS4 and Xbox One consoles. It appears that last-gen hardware is struggling with Warzone’s new update the most.

Reddit user riz_the_snuggie shows off their Warzone match where a lag spike gets them killed at the worst possible moment. And they’re not the only user that’s facing these issues.

“All that’s missing is the dev error or server disconnect and that would basically be my experience so far this season,” one commenter writes.

It seems that the issues are so prevalent that some players are being disconnected from Activision’s servers completely. And on top of that, there are some fans that can’t access Warzone altogether.

“I can’t even get into a game right now”, Reddit user Misdirected_Colors comments. “Warzone crashes during the pregame lobby for me 100% of the time. I think the most recent update probs has a memory leak or they f*cked up the game optimization.”

But Warzone’s biggest problem is still its cheater population. In fact, it appears that cheaters are worse in Warzone Season 4 than ever before, and players are getting fed up.

Already, a large portion of the Warzone player base is likely ready to switch to Battlefield 2042 or Halo Infinite later this year. You can already sign up for the upcoming Battlefield 2042 beta here, or the Halo Infinite Public Flighting here!

But when Warzone is finally up and running for all players again, there’s another issue to contend with. It looks like there’s a new pay-to-win Warzone skin that fans are calling Roze 2.0 – and for good reason!
