Warzone Season 4 is an amazing update, if only because it finally fixes the Roze Rook skin for good.
In case you hadn’t heard, Warzone Season 4 is finally here, and it’s making some big changes to the game. And one of the most notable patch notes alludes to fixing Warzone’s biggest pay-to-win skin.
We’re referring, of course, to Warzone’s infamous Rook skin for Roze. The all-black outfit is no longer going to be able to hide in the shadows quite so easily.
Here’s what the Roze skin looked like before and after its Season 3 nerf! As you can see, there was still a way to go before the cosmetic became balanced.
Thankfully, Raven Software has given it one more shot, and we’d say that the Rook skin is fixed for good in Warzone Season 4.

Warzone Season 4 New Roze Nerf – Before & After
Take a look at the new Roze skin before and after its Warzone Season 4 nerf! We’re sure you’ll agree that the cosmetic is looking a lot fairer after the update.
The original Roze was certainly an issue for Warzone players everywhere, as its all-black appearance allowed users to hide in the shadows easily. Now, this might prove trickier to accomplish.
In the new Warzone Season 4 patch notes, Raven Software states that it’s made “material updates to increase visibility.”
What this means for the Roze skin, it appears, is that the cosmetic is now a light grey instead of black. Take a look at the original cosmetic below:
Roze’s Rook skin was so broken that Warzone tournaments were almost entirely filled with players using the cosmetics. Unfortunately, we already know what overpowered Warzone skin players will switch to after the Roze nerf!
