Warzone Season 3 Adds New Dig Site Location & Updates Caldera POIs

Warzone Season 3 is shaking up Caldera in a big way – not only is the new Dig Site location coming to the map, but a number of other POIs are getting major updates too!

Warzone players have been patiently waiting for Season 3 to arrive and it looks like it was worth the wait.

In addition to the Godzilla vs Kong Operation Monarch event, Warzone Season 3 has introduced some major changes to the game. The biggest of which is to Caldera itself.

In addition to the brand-new Dig Site location, Season 3 has also made some changes to some of the most popular POIs in Caldera. Here is every major map change in the Warzone Season 3 update!

All Caldera Map Changes in Warzone Season 3 – New Dig Site Location & POI Updates

Dig Site

Warzone Season 3 Dig SIte

The new location in Warzone Season 3, players can find Dig Site in between Caldera’s Mines and the Ruins. It is full of the skeletons of huge creatures and also has two huge cranes with conveyor belts that players can fight on.

Expect this location to be very busy at the start of Season 3 as everyone will want to see these monstrous skeletons for themselves.

Also, you’ll probably want to be heading back here on the Warzone Operation Monarch release date. There will surely be a limited-time quest revolving around this location!


Warzone Season 3 Runway

In Warzone Season 3, Runway has more metal hangars to offer cover when rotating around the map. However, the surrounding area has less foliage to offer cover, so you won’t want to spend much time out in the open!

Plus, Runway has some more guard and water towers, offering some great vantage points for snipers.

Warzone Season 3 Peak

Peak has been rebuilt for Warzone Season 3 and there are plenty of ascenders around the area to help traverse zip up to the highest points.

Additionally, there are some major changes to the inside of the dormant volcano. The cavern has been smoothed over in concrete, as have the surrounding tunnels.

Warzone Season 3 Lagoon

Finally, the tide has gone out in Caldera and revealed a new path to the Lagoon. You can find this on the north side of the bridge to the Lighthouse.

Make sure to explore this area carefully – you can find a rock with mysterious Kanji writing on it as well as some other secrets washed up on the shore.
