Warzone players have called Season 1 Reloaded the “worst update ever” – and for good reason!
The mid-season “Reloaded” updates in Warzone always add new content to the game. There are always a couple of weapons, alongside some new gameplay features or maybe even a game mode.
Unfortunately, the Warzone Season 1 Reloaded update has fallen well below expectations, leading fans to label it as the worst update the game has ever got!
Here’s why fans are so upset about Season 1 Reloaded.
Why Are Fans Upset With Warzone Season 1 Reloaded?
Fans are upset with the Warzone Season 1 Reloaded update for 3 major reasons:
- It introduced game-breaking glitches
- Lots of the new content from the roadmap has been delayed
- Major issues with Warzone still haven’t been fixed
Below, we go into detail about each of these disappointments and why fans are so upset by them.
Firstly, the Season 1 Reloaded update completely broke Warzone for some players.
Many players couldn’t even get into a game when Season 1 Reloaded launched, and, even if they did, picking up your loadout caused the game to freeze! Another glitch meant that players could not edit their custom loadouts either.
Fortunately, Raven Software has now fixed the “fetching online profile” loop and the loadout glitch, but Warzone was essentially unplayable for the first 12 hours after the update!
Delayed New Content
The delayed new content in Season 1 Reloaded has also been a major disappointment for Warzone fans.
In the days leading up to the update, Raven Software announced that the Weapons Cases and Covert Exfils feature would be delayed.
Then, just minutes after Season 1 Reloaded went live, the new Champion’s Quest for Urzikstan was disabled.
To top it all off, players have also had issues unlocking the new HRM-9 SMG and could not view the Event tab to see the crossover event with The Boys for a while after the Season 1 Reloaded began.
Major Issues Still Not Fixed
Finally, players are upset that the significant issues with Warzone were still not fixed with Season 1 Reloaded.
While there was some weapon balancing in the update, it was nowhere near enough. Somehow, the MTZ Interceptor and WSP Swarm were not nerfed, meaning they are still dominating in Warzone.
Additionally, the complaints about broken audio in the game were not addressed either!
Hopefully, Raven Software manages to address these problems soon and launches Season 2 in a much better state than Season 1 Reloaded was released in!
