Warzone Players Quitting Due to Cheaters in Every Game – July 2021

Warzone players have had enough, with many users reporting that they’re quitting the game due to cheaters in every match.

There’s no game quite like Warzone, which makes its decline all the more concerning. Activision’s battle royale title has attracted over 100 million players since its launch in March 2020.

However, it feels like Warzone cheaters are getting worse with each passing month. And with the publisher doing little to fight back against the rising tides of hacking players, it’s certainly putting more than a few people off the game for good.

Thankfully, there’s a way for PlayStation fans to avoid cheaters in Warzone, but other players aren’t so lucky. On both PC and Xbox, gamers have to put up with aimbotting, wallhacking, and more in the game.

And now that players can now download Warzone cheats on console, turning off crossplay doesn’t guarantee a hacker-free lobby anymore.

In the past, we’ve even seen players brag about cheating in Warzone while streaming… It’s a wonder that it’s taken players this long to start quitting.

Warzone Players Quitting Because of Cheaters

According to new posts on the CODWarzone subreddit, players are quitting the battle royale due to the ongoing cheater issues.

In one recent submission, user Agk3los reports that they’ve run into 7 hackers in the last 7 games. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard stories like this, with the Warzone fan claiming that they were killed by blatant cheaters in each game – none of whom were trying to hide their hacking.

“This game is just done. It’s been taken over and is just unplayable at this point. The occasional hacker is one thing. The 1 hacker in 5 games thing was one thing. Hackers in every single game is a completely other thing.”

The user goes on to confirm that they’re done with Warzone, having uninstalled the title for good. It’s a shame to see more players begin to drop off Activision’s battle royale, but it’s hard to blame them.

Even top streamers are leaving Warzone’s battle royale modes, which is almost certainly concerning higher-ups at Activision.

However, new reports indicate that a new WW2 Warzone map is coming very soon. Could this be the turnaround that the game needs?

Truthfully, we’re sure that Warzone will keep a huge player base for quite some time. But with a new Battlefield 2042 trailer looking better than any shooter in years, Activision’s time could be running out.

I uninstalled it the first game I played never went back and all the hackers that got banned just went to multiplayer...so whats the difference. COD games are only great the first 2months then the hackers roll in..has been like that with the past 6 COD..cold war will most likely be my last COD I ever purchase ever....i wont even buy it for the zombies its garbage.

I played this game sooooo much, I had a goal to "just get better" and I did. I worked my way into a good KD and even broke the Top 10k in Resurgence mode in wins. I had a whole crew about 20 deep and we all quit because it is horrendous out there. Cheaters have ruined the game and Activision is responsible for not doing enough to solve the problem. They never cared about the people playing their game, just the amount of dollhairs they bring in. I think I'm gonna sue Activision for the depression it caused me.

Yeah, I pay to play and can't even get an honest game anymore. Hope something better shows up soon.

All call of duty games have fallen because of cheaters, you can't play none of them without someone cheating, how can that be fun?
