Warzone’s Rebirth Island has undergone a drastic change in Season 3 Reloaded update!
While Verdansk ’84 is the map that most Warzone players regularly drop into, the smaller Rebirth Island is still a great map. Also, it has just undergone a huge change which players absolutely love.
How has Rebirth Island changed in the Season 3 Reloaded update?
Rebirth Island Update in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded
The Warzone Season 3 Reloaded patch notes contained loads of welcome changes. However, Raven left off some interesting changes for one reason or another.
Rebirth Island has been untouched since it arrived in Warzone back as the start of Cold War Season 1. Although, it has been given a total makeover in the latest update.
The construction site has been changed to the Control Center from Rebirth Night and the Decon Zone has been extended too.
More importantly, though, the lighting on Rebirth Island has been totally overhauled. This makes the map look much more vibrant and players love it.
“Don’t care what anybody says, this looks VASTLY superior to current Verdansk. Looks far more natural and overall far more visually appealing to look at.”
Unfortunately, the terrible lighting is a huge problem for Verdansk ’84. This has led players to ask for Warzone developer Raven Software to make the lighting in Verdansk like the updated Rebirth Island lighting.
In case you missed it, there was also a huge update to Verdansk ’84 too. Check out all of the new POIs in Season 3 Reloaded, including the amazing Nakatomi Plaza.
Terrible Visibility in Verdansk ’84
Despite Raven Software saying that they will fix the lighting in Verdansk ’84 a few weeks ago, there have been no major changes so far. However, some players on the Warzone subreddit are theorizing that this update to Rebirth Island’s lighting is being used as a test before the studio updates Verdansk ’84 too.
What do you think of the update to Rebirth Island and ill you be dropping in there more often now?
Meanwhile, Warzone Season 3 Reloaded has also brought the explosive ’80s Action Heroes event, with limited-time side quests. Find out how to open the Nakatomi Plaza vault in Warzone.
Also, make sure to collect the Rambo POW Dog Tags at the Survival Camp locations across Verdansk. You’ll need these to complete a limited-time challenge.
Finally, the Rambo and John McClane skins may look good, but they have a huge problem. Will you still be buying them?
