Warzone Players Love Operation Flashback Limited Time Game Mode

Call of Duty Warzone has a brand-new game mode, Operation Flashback, and players are absolutely loving it so far!

Warzone players are always looking forward to new limited-time game modes and the newest one, Operation Flashback, might be the best one yet.

Now that the new Warzone Pacific map, Caldera, is on the horizon, developer Raven Software wanted to give the original map, Verdansk, the sendoff it deserves. This has come in the form of a new game mode – Operation Flashback.

Luckily, the new LTM certainly provides a fitting farewell. But why do Warzone players love Operation Flashback so much?

Is Operation Flachback the Best Warzone LTM Yet?

Warzone has had plenty of LTMs including the much-beloved Iron Trials ’84 as well as spooky Ghosts of Verdansk Halloween game mode. However, players seem to love Operation Flashback even more.

Bringing back elements from past Warzone seasons all in one crazy game mode could have gone very wrong. However, fans seem to think that Raven has got it just right.

A new post on the Warzone subreddit is full of praise for the Operation Flashback LTM and has hundreds of upvotes. What’s more, it reveals what players love the most about it.

Firstly, players love that the floor loot has finally gone back to Modern Warfare weapons. Ever since ground loot changed to Cold War weapons, players have been unhappy with the weapons they can find, so this is a welcome change for many.

Secondly, the bunkers and keycards have finally returned to Warzone in Operation Flashback. This is great news for players who like to take a risk to get some rare loot.

Finally, players also love that you can open the Nakatomi Plaza vault again in Operation Flashback. Although, you’ll need to find out how to open the Nakatomi Plaza vault in Warzone first.
