Warzone Players Are Not Enjoying The Game Anymore

Warzone players are feeling burnt out with Call of Duty: Warzone. It appears that players are getting a bit fed up with the game and are finding the multiplayer experience frustrating.

There is discussion in the Warzone community regarding whether Warzone is still an enjoyable experience or not. Interestingly, despite Warzone’s 75 million player base, some believe the game is simply not fun anymore.

Unfortunately, sometimes even the most popular games can suddenly become obsolete. Players lose interest, or even worse, realize that they aren’t actually having fun anymore.

Sometimes there is very little reasoning behind why players are not enjoying the game anymore. However, Warzone does have a number of big issues, the biggest being its rampant cheating problem.

Warzone Players Are Frustrated

Sadly, a large portion of Warzone players are simply not enjoying the game anymore. Recent discussion has shined light on the possible reasons for why this is happening.

The biggest reason right now appears to be that the game feels very stale. The new Call of Duty: Warzone season 2 tease has made players hopeful for the appearance of a new map.

Furthermore, it appears that the decision making choices behind Warzone is not being properly thought out. It is leading to frustrating design choices that are ruining the experience for Warzone players.

Most recently, the addition of Black Ops Cold War weapons to Warzone was fraught with problems. Many Warzone players want the Cold War weapons removed from the game after a vicious backlash.

Furthermore, Warzone is plagued with gameplay issues and frequent bugs and exploits occur too often. The most notorious is Warzone’s infinite stim glitch, which has resurfaced multiple times.

Unfortunately, it is the smaller elements that affect the overall enjoyment of the game. It is hard for Warzone players to enjoy a competitive battle royale game when they are fighting against the game itself.

The Call of Duty: Warzone Invisibility glitch has returned with a vengeance, amongst other frustrating bugs.

The cheating issue is another reason why Warzone players are not having a good time with the game. Warzone players report that cheaters are present in the majority of Warzone lobbies.

Furthermore, the cheating problem has led to a case of “if you can’t beat them, join them” considering there are very few measures being taken to combat it.

One Warzone hacker has proven how easy it is to get away with cheating too. It highlights a clear and blatant problem with Warzone currently. Until it is fixed, Warzone will remain in a bad state.

Warzone SBMM Issues

A top criticism with the game at the moment revolves around the in-game matchmaking system too. Sadly, players are experiencing difficult matchups which are no fun to play against.

When you are consistently losing or struggling in Warzone, it is very easy to quickly become frustrated with the game. Interestingly, many have realized that they are playing Warzone simply for the sake of playing.

The majority of Warzone players argue that the SBMM system does not provide a balanced lobby of the same skill level. Many report that matches are either too difficult or competitive, thereby impacting casual enjoyment.

Unfortunately, the SBMM also makes it difficult to play with friends. When Warzone players have a difference in KD and are thrown into the same lobby, it can be a struggle to keep up.

Furthermore, when you throw Warzone’s broken hit detection into the mix, it becomes even more frustrating. There are even areas of the map which Warzone players think aren’t fun, such as Warzone’s Bunker Drop zone.

Season 2 could be coming soon to Warzone, with it there may be many necessary changes. However, it could be too late for many players as the continued frustration builds.

Interestingly, Activision confirms a new Call of Duty game will be coming in 2021. The new installment could contain a battle royale mode and may even learn from Warzone’s mistakes.
