Warzone Pacific: How to Fly Planes & Where to Find Them in Caldera

Planes are one of the biggest new features in Call of Duty Warzone’s new Caldera map, and here is everything you could possibly want to know about where to find them and how to fly once you do.

Caldera has finally come to Warzone. While players will undoubtedly appreciate the change of scenery, the new map should also bring some pretty significant gameplay changes with it.

From new World War 2 weaponry to changes to when players can get their loadout drops in Caldera, there is a lot for players to check out.

One of the most exciting new additions is Caldera’s new planes that will see Warzone players taking to the skies for dogfights and raining fire below.

Planes seem like they will be an extremely powerful tool for players who can get them. Most matches should have plenty of players trying to get in on the airborne fun, but knowing where they can all spawn should make getting one a bit easier.

Where to Find Planes in Caldera

Warzone pilots will want to check five different locations in Caldera to try and find their very own plane.

Understandably, the easiest place to grab a plane on Caldera is at Airfield, as it is the only location that has multiple spawns for the vehicle, so it will likely be a pretty hot drop in most matches.

If you want to grab a plane later in the match, or maybe after a quick visit to Caldera’s new gulag, one also spawns at Arsenal, Mines, Fields, and Runway.

These locations are scattered across the map, so no matter where players are, they won’t be too far from one.

Once you get your hands on one, flying it is simple. The controls are even displayed on the bottom of the screen while operating the plane and can be modified in the settings.

However, you’ll have to fly pretty carefully as there will be other players with planes as well as the new anti-air guns that are scattered across Caldera to look out for.

Warzone players who aren’t lucky enough to get planes on Caldera still have plenty of new content to check out though. Right away players can start tackling Caldera’s new contracts or finding their favorite new gun.

However, the new map has had some issues that players may have to contend with as well. Players have reported numerous graphical issues alongside freezes and crashes on Caldera that may get in the way. Either way, it’s definitely exciting for players to have a whole new map to explore.
