Warzone is finally getting NVIDIA DLSS support after months of waiting, and it’ll drop in Season 3.
Warzone players can finally rejoice, knowing that support for NVIDIA DLSS is almost here. For months now, we’ve been hoping that Activision’s battle royale would be able to take advantage of NVIDIA’s technology, and our prayers are being answered at long last.
Of course, only a small percentage of the overall Warzone player base will be able to make use of DLSS, but it’s still exciting news. And those who are able to take advantage of the software will be playing the best possible version of Warzone.
Unfortunately, that’s just one of the many advantages of playing Warzone on PC over consoles. Meanwhile, players are still waiting for Warzone to get a FOV slider on consoles.
In case you missed it, Warzone is making major changes to the infamous Roze skin, alongside huge weapon balances!
What Is NVIDIA DLSS?
For those of you who aren’t familiar, NVIDIA DLSS is the company’s groundbreaking AI rendering technology. Deep Learning Super Sampling aims to improve overall graphical performance as well as boosting frame rates.
Using NVIDIA DLSS, Warzone players will be able to see sharper images during gameplay and get improved stability too. With DLSS on, Black Ops Cold War almost doubles its overall performance, and we can expect similar success in Warzone.
Hopefully, the new DLSS will make spotting invisible Roze skins much easier for certain users. Especially after the skin was given out to players for free in a new Warzone bug!
However, to make use of NVIDIA DLSS, gamers will need an NVIDIA 20 or 30 series graphics card. Given that these are famously in short supply right now, it’ll definitely be hard to come across them.
But those gamers able to obtain a gaming PC capable of NVIDIA DLSS will be running Warzone at its very best. Interestingly, the new Nintendo Switch Pro leak reveals that the console may actually support 4K and DLSS!
Warzone NVIDIA DLSS Release Date
But when will we be able to try NVIDIA DLSS in Warzone for ourselves? According to a new email from NVIDIA, Warzone DLSS support will launch alongside Season 3 on April 22.
This new information isn’t yet confirmed by Raven Software, but we’re certain it’s only a matter of time.
Meanwhile, did you know it’s now possible to win Warzone even after becoming a zombie? Unfortunately, the game’s new Radiation Zones are also leading to legitimate Infinite Stim glitches surfacing in Warzone.
