Warzone Ninja Plays Dead to Secure the Victory

Sometimes it’s the most ridiculous strategies that can give you the edge in a battle royale. In an incredible play, one Warzone ninja plays dead to get the victory.

Warzone is a game all about positioning. With a large open-world environment to move about in, getting into a key position could be the difference between life and death.

But as that final ring closes in, what do you do if you’re in a bad spot? Do you push into the area and risk certain death?

A new clip shows an alternative tactic, as one Warzone ninja decides the best strategy is simply to play dead.

Playing Dead in Warzone – A Good Tactic?

Everyone knows what a dead enemy looks like in Warzone. A prone body surrounded by loot drops is almost certainly a corpse.

But in this instance, Reddit user RazerMackham’s lobby would have been better off checking the body. The Warzone player was very much alive, simply having dropped the contents of their inventory around themself.

This tactic was enough to fool passing enemies, as RazerMackham entered the last ring solo. All three of their teammates were dead, and they had poor positioning, so they rolled the dice on their acting skills.

It turns out this gamble had rather high returns too, as the Warzone player was able to grab most of their gear back after the enemies have passed. Waiting for the opportune moment, the player crawls to cover nearby.

Then, as only 6 enemies remain, they pick their targets and begin to fire. Eliminating the nearby foes, this Warzone ninja is left with an easy victory, even without their teammates.

In other battle royale news, one player found a way into the Warzone Gulag. And no, we’re not talking about dying…

Warzone cheaters have also found a way to glitch through walls in Rebirth Island too. With this new bug, players can become invincible and invisible in the battle royale.

And players are still calling for a nerf to one of Warzone’s most overpowered weapons. After what feels like weeks dying to the DMR, Warzone is broken and it’s boring players.
