After the Black Ops Cold War integration, two new Warzone weapons have become dominant in the battle royale. However, a new Warzone leak suggests that the two OP guns may get a nerf today.
Playing Warzone right now, players will encounter the same guns over and over. You'll barely go five minutes without encountering a squad wielding some of Cold War's most overpowered weaponry.
Despite a great variety of guns being available for all players, it seems that the current meta revolves entirely around two OP Warzone guns. It's not hard to see why Modern Warfare players are angry at Cold War's inclusion.
But with such a clear power difference between Cold War and Modern Warfare weaponry, these new additions quickly became the best weapons in Warzone.
Warzone's Most OP Weapons Nerf
We're referring, of course, to the Mac-10 and DMR 14. If you've been away from Warzone for a while, the Mac-10 is now the king of Warzone.
It's insane just how much damage the rapid-fire SMG can put out, and the gun is capable of ripping through enemies like tissue paper. But the new Cold War Season 1 unlock is also far better than you'd expect at range.
Using the best Mac-10 Warzone loadout, players are able to hit their shots at medium to long-range with decent accuracy. Of course, the gun performs best up close, but it's handy to have by your side in any situation.
Meanwhile, the most OP weapon in Warzone right now is clearly the DMR 14. This tactical rifle is a tremendous damage dealer and has next to no recoil to hold you back.
Especially when making use of the best DMR 14 loadout in Warzone, players are able to shred enemy squads with just a few bullets.
In fact, angry players already claim that the DMR 14 is ruining Warzone. The gun is certainly more than a little broken, with an insane new DMR clip highlighting why it's Warzone's best weapon.
Mac-10 and DMR 14 Nerf Coming Later Today?
Thankfully, the short-lived reign of the Mac-10 and DMR 14 could already be coming to an end. According to new reports, nerf to Warzone's most OP guns could be arriving as early as today.
This new intel comes courtesy of reliable Warzone leaker ModernWarzone on Twitter. The user claims to be hearing lots of rumors about a DMR and Mac nerf dropping later in the day.
However, it's worth pointing out that the user also states that they "haven't heard it from any sources worth noting" just yet.
If true, this news is sure to make a lot of Warzone players very happy. But we also hope that the weapons don't get nerfed into the ground completely.
Despite Warzone being a mess right now, the new guns are a breath of fresh air into the battle royale. What's more, the DMR 14 and Mac-10 are actually fun to use, even without their incredible kill potential.
If you're moving from a recently-nerfed Tactical Rifle, we would recommend this overpowered gun as the best DMR replacement.
In other recent news, Soap MacTavish is finally coming to Warzone in a new update. However, fans already hate Soap's new look in Modern Warfare.
