Warzone Players Report Harder Lobbies Since Season 6 Update

Warzone players are reporting that lobbies appear to be getting harder after the Season 6 update.

Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 6 is finally here, but it’s not everything we were hoping for. Verdansk is getting some changes, and Mason is in the game at last, but the final season on this map isn’t impressing fans.

Many players are looking forward to the leaked Ghosts of Verdansk game mode, dropping later this month.

On top of that, we’ve got the new Ghostface and Donnie Darko Operator skins appearing early.

But while we wait for the upcoming content, it seems all is not well in Warzone right now.

Is Warzone Getting Harder, More SBMM in Season 6?

It seems that Warzone could be getting harder in Season 6, with stricter SBMM potentially being the issue.

Previously, we’ve seen claims that Warzone streamers get easy lobbies with no Skill-Based Matchmaking. The function, which aims to pit players with similarly skilled users, is an unpopular feature in Call of Duty lately.

But now, many users are finding that Warzone appears harder in Season 6 as a whole. Multiple posts on the CODWarzone subreddit have players voicing their concerns.

“Has anyone noticed the game has become unforgivingly difficult in the past two days right after the update?” user _iOS writes. “I was dropping 9-10 kills every match in resurgence and after the update lobbies are so difficult I can hardly get 1 kill”

They’re not the only one calling out Warzone’s changes in Season 6 either. Many players report feeling like SBMM is being cranked to the max in the latest update.

But it might not just be Warzone’s update that’s leading to these issues. It’s possible that the ongoing Battlefield 2042 Beta is pulling away the casual players at the moment, leaving only hardcore fans in Verdansk.

However, with many Battlefield 2042 Beta players getting a refund on their pre-orders already, we’re sure Warzone servers will fill up again soon. That is, if Activision can bring the game back to its former glory.

Right now, everyone is just banking on the new Pacific Warzone map saving the Battle Royale game. After all, it’s coming bundled in with the long-awaited Warzone anti-cheat.

Cheaters are still running rampant in Warzone right now, meaning it’s a make-or-break moment for the game. But the Pacific Warzone map could have big problems already.

I kinda like SBMM cause it actually weeds out the players who fucking reverse boost to get easier lobbies because they play for shit and the only way they feel like they can play is either reverse boost or Wallah ks and Aimbot. GTFO and let the real players play.

Its happening in call of duty cold war as well! My bro and I are a pretty damn good team and we didn't win a single match after last night game and joined to games where people constantly left the game.
