Warzone Hackers Getting Worse, Claim Angry Fans

Hackers in Warzone are getting worse, according to fans of the battle royale title.

If there’s one thing that gets the Warzone community riled up, it’s the abundance of hackers in Activision’s battle royale. When your goal is to be the last man standing, and you’re going up against a blatant cheater, the odds are tipped against you from the start.

Since Warzone is a free-to-play game, it’s easy for cheaters to open a new account right away if they eventually do get a ban.

But Activision has long-been resistant to the idea of adding strict anti-cheat software to the game, despite fans calling for it.

This is probably the reason why Warzone streamers are bragging about cheating while live on stream. And it’s also why NICKMERCS believes that Warzone is dying due to a hacker infestation.

Are Warzone Hackers Becoming More Common?

According to fans on the Warzone subreddit, it appears that running into hackers is becoming increasingly common.

A new Reddit thread asks fans if they too are encountering an “unbelievable amount of hackers.” In the post, user muzzyyyy claims to have never seen Warzone so overrun with cheating users:

“I’ve never seen it this bad, seem to be coming up against a hacker every other game the past couple of days. Has anyone else noticed it getting worse? Any idea why this might be?”

Other players confirm that they are noticing the uptick in hackers on Warzone. Some go as far as to label Activision’s battle royale unplayable in its current state.

In fact, the hacker problem is getting so bad that Warzone players are even getting banned for cheating in major tournaments.

One commenter claims that the fault likes with Activision, Treyarch, and Infinity Ward. After all, the user states, the teams behind the game are still yet to fix Warzone’s freezing loadout glitch after weeks of complaints.

At the end of the day, those who do opt to cheat in Warzone will eventually get a ban. But this is easy to circumvent by making a new account and hopping back in again with the same hacks.

Even Dr Disrespect is calling out Activision over Warzone cheaters, thanks to a recent controversy in a major tournament.
