Warzone Fans Want Operation Monarch to Stay Forever As a Permanent Mode

Warzone is rapidly approaching its end date for Operation Monarch but fans want the mode to stay forever as a permanent mode.

In case you somehow missed the news, Operation Monarch is the latest and greatest event in Warzone. The LTM features the likes of King Kong and Godzilla who rampage around Caldera during a Resurgence Battle Royale.

Although initially, players were angry at Operation Monarch for false advertising, many have come around and begun to enjoy the mode.

Now some Warzone fans actually love Operation Monarch and its titan-fighting gameplay. The mode is far from perfect, but it adds some chaos to the Caldera experience and it’s endlessly entertaining.

If you’ve been enjoying the experience, don’t miss out on the mode’s hidden rewards before they disappear forever!

Warzone Fans Ask Activision Not to Remove Godzilla vs Kong

It seems that Warzone players would like Operation Monarch to stay forever, with Godzilla and Kong as permanent residents of Caldera.

In a new post to the CODWarzone subreddit, Reddit user azur12348 shares their thoughts on the game mode.

“This is the best mode by far, no camping no heartbeat sensors no UAVs just pure fun”.

Other commenters seem to agree with the player, claiming that they only enjoy Caldera in the new mode. Some even like the idea of a Caldera resurgence mode replacing Operation Monarch when it leaves.

“I agree, they could get rid of the monsters and just keep the mode. I’d rather play it than plunder or BR,” BigM4N104 writes.

However, with Operation Monarch’s end date fast approaching, we’re not so certain that Activision will listen to this request. After all, Godzilla and Kong are both licensed characters who are likely part of a temporary deal.

It may not be a case of just choosing to keep the mode in the game, the publisher may not have the legal rights to do so. Then again, licensed character skins such as Ghostface, Donnie Darko, Rambo, and more are all still present in Warzone, proving that it is possible.

This isn’t the first limited-time mode that fans have begged Activision to keep around. And we bet it won’t be the last either.

It just goes to show, that no matter how many streamers hate Godzilla and Kong in Warzone, casual fans can still find a way to enjoy the event.

Meanwhile, we just got a massive leak for Warzone 2, revealing new map, gameplay and loadout details!
