If you were expecting more from the Vanguard reveal event in Warzone, you’re not the only one that found it a little boring.
Just a matter of hours ago, we finally got the Call of Duty Vanguard reveal event inside Warzone. And despite some excellent announcements, players seem to think that the event itself was a little lacking.
Of course, shortly afterward, we heard that Vanguard will launch with an insane amount of Multiplayer maps!
And on top of that, it appears that a new WW2 Warzone map will bring an official anti-cheat to the game at last!
But you’ll need to make some hard drive space, as Vanguard’s Ultimate Edition is an insane 270 GB…

Warzone’s Vanguard Reveal Event Was Boring
After months of waiting, fans are finding Warzone’s Vanguard reveal event a little too boring for their liking.
For those who haven’t seen it yet, Vanguard’s reveal event should be active throughout the weekend. Players can earn these rewards for taking part in the Battle of Verdansk.
But despite large community events being popular in Warzone, many users found this one to be a little lacking.
We’ve got a full breakdown on the Warzone Vanguard reveal event here – with instructions on how to destroy the train and more. But if you want to enjoy it for yourself, simply hop into the battle royale before it’s too late.
“Huge day for @CallofDuty, #CDL2021 champs start today, one of the coolest event endings ever, insane trailer for #CallofDutyVanguard a #warzoneanticheat and new #warzone map ANNOUNCED,” Twitter user Mike O’Connor writes. “W’s all around. Except the event. That was boring af.”
The sentiments were echoed by other Warzone fans who were disappointed in the event after it was teased earlier this week.
In fact, our first leaks for the armored train in Warzone first appeared months ago. At the very least, the exfil section was worth seeing, with a horde of WW2 bombers filling the sky.
However, just like the disappointing Zombies taking over Verdansk event, there was again no way to exfil successfully.
On top of that, while it seems that Vanguard’s next-gen graphics are insane, we’ll have to wait to see more. And it looks like we’ll be getting word on Treyarch’s new Vanguard Zombies mode on Halloween!
Right now, huge lag spikes and server issues are common in Warzone Season 5. Let’s hope that Activision works on more than just anti-cheat between now and launch day.
