Even more people than ever are now working on Warzone, with developer Raven Software having a growth of 50% in the last year alone.
Making games take a lot of time, effort, and, crucially, people. Luckily the future of Warzone is looking strong as there are now more developers than ever working on the game.
Not only does this mean that more huge updates like the one that added Nakatomi Plaza to Verdansk, are likely but also better quality of life changes. Not only should this mean fewer glitches too, but the long-promised Warzone anti-cheat might finally arrive too.
Find out all of the details of Warzone developer Raven Software’s growth below.
But first, Warzone also got a new development studio recently.
How Many People Work For Warzone Developer Raven Software?
Warzone’s latest updates have gotten bigger and bigger, so it makes sense that the development team is now larger than ever. The Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update changed over 35 guns in one patch!
However, a new report from VGC has now revealed the true extent of Raven Software’s growth to become a “Super Studio” as well as how many people are currently working for the Warzone developer.
Raven Software’s LinkedIn page states there are around 350 employees at the studio at the moment. However, Andy Robinson claims that over 100 of those have been hired in the last year alone. There are even 40 job vacancies still to be filled!
This is an expansion of over 50% and shows there is now a record number of people working on Warzone. This doesn’t even include the support studios like Toys For Bob who are also aiding in the development of Warzone, plus we don’t know who is making the leaked upcoming WW2 Warzone map which will launch later this year.
Additionally, Raven Software has hired some big names within the industry. This includes William Fine, who was a senior producer at Epic Games for Fortnite, and Respawn’s lead animator Manuel Torres Pineda.
This huge expansion of Warzone developer Raven Software bodes well for the future of the game. After all, Warzone will be Activision’s top priority for a long time.
