Warzone & Cold War John McClane and Rambo Operators Sound Terrible

There are two new 80s action heroes in Warzone, but John McClane and Rambo sound terrible.

It’s an exciting time to be a Warzone fan, with the new Season 3 Reloaded update just dropping today. What’s more, players can now purchase Die Hard and Rambo bundles in-game.

In addition, new POIs including Nakatomi Plaza and more are popping up around Warzone. You can even get insane loot in the Nakatomi Plaza vault if you know how to open it…

But not all players are happy with their purchases this time around. After paying 2400 COD Points for John McClane or Rambo, some users feel like they’ve been cheated.

And this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about terrible audio inside Warzone either.

Warzone & Black Ops Cold War 80s Action Heroes Operator Voices Sound Awful

Whether you’re interested in picking up Die Hard’s John McClane or Rambo in their respective Operator bundles, you might want to think twice.

A few days ago, both John McClane and Rambo leaked in Warzone and their Operator models looked terrible. Thankfully, it appears that the skins have now been tweaked for the better.

However, despite looking good in-game, both the Die Hard and Rambo bundles have one major issue: they sound terrible.

Unfortunately, neither Bruce Willis nor Sylvester Stallone recorded the lines for their iconic characters. That’s not to say that they don’t still voice the Operators, however.

It appears that Activision has taken the new Operators’ voice lines straight from their movies, and it doesn’t sound great. McClane in particular sounds very grainy in-game, as technology has likely had to isolate his voice from other noises in the movie.

Some of the lines also feel very out of place, simply because Activision didn’t have much to work with. These are 80s action movies, after all. Thankfully, everything else in the Warzone Season 3 Reloaded update is much better quality.

PrestigeIsKey points out that Rambo doesn’t even appear to have as many voice lines in-game, although he sounds a little less terrible than John McClane. Have a listen to the new audio in the video below.

Interestingly, there’s a new Red Door teleport system dropping into Warzone soon! And with the return of the mysterious numbers, this can only mean one thing – Mason is on his way to Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.

What’s more, there’s a new World Series for Warzone eSports with an absolutely incredible prize pool coming too.

Meanwhile, is Activision actually banning Call of Duty hackers live on Twitch?
