Right now Warzone and Black Ops Cold War’s storyline revolves around the hunt for Russell Adler. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming event.
As we head into Season 3, both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War prepare to launch their biggest events to date. Yesterday saw a nuke hit the Warzone map in The Destruction of Verdansk Part 1.
And now, as we begin to arrive in 1980s Verdansk for the first time, a new Hunt for Adler event is about to take place. The new story content is far from over, even after Warzone’s Plague Mode.
Now, players will have the task of searching for Adler throughout Warzone and Cold War. And it looks like things will be heating up in the Black Ops Cold War storyline.
Warzone and Black Ops Cold War’s Hunt for Adler Event Details
In case you missed it, Adler was captured in a recent Black Ops Cold War Season teaser. It looks as though it’s been a rough few months for the soldier, but soon players will be in with a chance of saving the iconic character.
Once we finally drop into 1980s Verdansk later today, we’ll finally have the chance to experience the Hunt for Adler event. And according to this new report, we’ll need to search both Cold War and Warzone to bring him home.
In the game files, dataminer ZestyCODLeaks is discovering new information about the event. According to the leaker, players will be collecting intel in Cold War Multiplayer and Warzone battle royale matches.
When in-game, a scavenger hunt will be active, with players needing to ‘Locate Adler’s Supplies’ in one upcoming challenge. There will be a number of sections to work through, with a handful of rewards upon successful completion.
Here’s what the official Warzone Season 3 patch notes have to say about the upcoming event:
“Starting on April 22nd, the new “Hunt for Adler” limited-time event will task Operators with unique in-game challenges in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone to learn of Adler’s whereabouts. Complete these Intel Challenges to unlock Event rewards, including Weapon Charms, Calling Cards, a new Operator Skin, and more.”
