Warzone’s Battle of Verdansk event looks to be starting in-game much earlier than anticipated, with players reporting the event has begun ahead of its release.
It’s certainly an exciting time to be a Call of Duty fan. Recently, the first Call of Duty Vanguard teaser trailer was at last revealed to fans.
Whilst Warzone enters its fifth season, players are already looking to the next game, which appears to be looming on the horizon.
Vanguard will take players back to WW2, but before that Activision is rolling out a new in-game event in order to officially reveal the latest game.
The new event, entitled ‘Battle of Verdansk’, will task players with taking down a heavily armored train. Furthermore, there are exclusive rewards for players to earn for taking part in the event.
Warzone Armored Train Event
The worldwide reveal of COD Vanguard is almost upon us, however, a live event will officially reveal the game first-hand.
Despite this, it looks like some players have already managed to reach the aftermath of the event. According to the official COD blog post, players will use TNT in order to stop an armored train roaming Verdansk.
Whereas the previous in-game reveal event for Black Ops Cold War had players face off against each other, this one will rely on teamwork.
In fact, everyone will have to work together in order to stop the train in Warzone’s Battle of Verdansk event. Although, given the current state of Warzone, it comes as no surprise that the event is already glitching out for many players.
Take a look at the clip down below, which shows the aftermath of the Battle of Verdansk event. You can see for yourself what it looks like to successfully take down the armored train:
As you can see, it looks like Activision may have already spoiled the fun. In fact, for many, the armored train which will feature in the Battle of Verdansk event is already destroyed.
We hesitate to say that the new event is a train wreck, but it certainly isn’t going smoothly. Furthermore, Xbox fans are already ‘uninterested’ in Vanguard due to Halo Infinite & Battlefield 2042.
Interestingly enough, in the past, some insiders have even stated that Vanguard is already a “disaster”, so perhaps this is just a sign of what’s to come.
