The popular game mode Armored Royale has returned to Call of Duty: Warzone in the latest update. Here's exactly what to expect if you haven't played before.
The rather unusual Armored Royale game mode is back and it might not be everyone's cup of tea. The game mode is rather different from the standard battle royale experience that players are used to.
Are you fed up with dealing with Warzone's unbalanced bunker drop zone? Sometimes, all you need to win is a mighty mobile fortress for you and your teammates to crush the competition.

Warzone Armored Royale Returns
The popular game mode Armored Royale has been re-introduced to Call of Duty: Warzone. If you haven't played before you may want to hear how the game mode works before jumping in.
The game mode is unusual in that it gives players a huge tactical advantage right from the get-go, an armored truck. Players will have to look after their vehicle and in doing so they will be rewarded.
The crux of Armored Royale is that players begin the match with a very powerful armored vehicle. The armored truck comes equipped with armor plating, but there is also a gun turret too.
Another huge tactical advantage in Armored Royale is the buy stations attached to your vehicle. This means that players can purchase loadout drops and streaks from the comfort of their truck.
Players will want to ensure they keep their vehicle intact for as long as possible as it is the best tactical advantage. Furthermore, players can also respawn and buy items from the safety of their home-on-wheels.
Interestingly enough, the Gulag is not present in Armored Royale. However, if players do die after a short time they will respawn back inside the safety of the team's armored truck.
After the sixth circle has collapsed, however, players cannot respawn. So ensure you play tactically and carefully. You can however repurchase a truck (for a hefty price) from other buy stations around the map.
However, the drawback is that if your truck gets destroyed, players have no way of respawning. Therefore, keeping your armored truck intact is a top priority for securing a victory.
If you are a bit fed up with the vanilla Warzone experience, this might be something to try out. Sadly, despite Activision's promise to implement an effective anti-cheat system, Warzone's battle royale mode is still plagued by cheaters.
Call of Duty: Warzone Game Mode
Call of Duty: Warzone is currently experiencing a host of issues, most notable is Warzone's cheating issue. Sadly for both players and streamers, cheating is a rampant problem.
In fact, one Warzone Streamer reports he has lost to cheaters over 1000 times. It shows how prevalent cheaters are in the popular battle royale game mode.
On top of this, players are actively pushing for the removal of the tactical Stim item. Unfortunately, this item causes a whole host of problems and is leading to frequent exploits.
Furthermore, recently a new Warzone map leak has emerged which could herald a new game-changing feature. If proven true, players may be in for a more exciting battle royale experience.
