Free to play Call of Duty battle royale title Warzone launched on March 10, 2020. It was a runaway success and the player base should reach 100 million soon.

No Warzone Anniversary Content?

Warzone's first birthday passed by with very little fanfare. Activision did introduce the very cool Warzone Report feature which lets you see all of your stats. Although there was nothing added in-game.

The closest players got to new content was the zombies finally taking over prison the following day.

This was a major disappointment for Warzone fans, who decided to post on Reddit about how much of a let down the Warzone anniversary was.

Warzone Birthday Disappointment

Plenty of Warzone players have been complaining about getting bored waiting for content recently. Warzone fan SevTreDuce posted on Reddit that the lack of content for Warzone's anniversary was particularly disappointing.

Many other Warzone players share this view as the post has over 5200 upvotes at the time of writing.

However, this isn't the most damning criticism of the lack of content to celebrate Warzone's birthday.

Redditor MrLeshen posted that the Warzone anniversary was a "slap in the face" for fans of the game. It's certainly a harsh statement, but one that many players agree with.

Let's hope that Activision can make up for it with some huge content updates coming soon. Find out when Season 3 of Black Ops Cold War & Warzone starts.

Meanwhile, Warzone hackers can now end the game and be awarded the win. This isn't even the worst problem as many Warzone players are having their games crash thanks to new Dev Errors.
