If you were hoping for more out of Warzone Season 6, your wish just came true. After teasing a surprise on October 12, Raven Software is adding two new guns to the battle royale title.
Vanguard Beta players will remember the STG44 and M1 Garand from the game’s recent trial. In fact, the STG44 is certainly known to be one of the game’s most powerful weapons.
And now, we’ll finally see how the guns stack up against their modern counterparts. Ahead of the upcoming Warzone Season 6 Reloaded and Vanguard Season 1 release dates, we’re getting the STG44 and M1 Garand added to the game today.
Warzone Gets 2 New Vanguard Guns – STG44 & M1 Garand
Warzone finally has its first Vanguard weaponry, with the STG44 and M1 Garand dropping in-game today!
In a new Battle Pass update, Raven Software announced that two Vanguard guns are joining the Warzone roster. These WW2 weapons will be the first guns making the jump from the upcoming Call of Duty Vanguard integration.
You’ll also want to know how to unlock these weapons:
Of course, seeing as Vanguard is running on the Modern Warfare engine, the transition should be easier than it was with Cold War guns. That said, we expect both the STG44 and M1 Garand to be a little overturned to build hype for the upcoming release.
After all, at launch, players will find it faster to unlock and level Vanguard weapons in the game’s Multiplayer. And with Vanguard guns having an insane number of attachments, we expect quite the grind ahead of us.
Interestingly, we actually saw a Modern Warfare gun inside the Vanguard Beta too! So this isn’t the only time we’ve seen a mix of modern and historic weaponry.
